Show your talents in the Greenhouse!
About 40,000 visitors within furniture and lighting and 1,000 journalists from all over the world are coming each year to Scandinavia's great design event, Stockholm Furniture Fair.
Many of today's leading design groups such as Front, Norway says and BrobergRidderstråle achieved their breakthrough thanks to Greenhouse, where up-and-coming talents can exhibit prototypes and meet furniture manufacturers.
In order to exhibit, applicant must not be permanently associated with any manufacturer or already established in the industry, and the products must not have been previously exhibited. Freelance designers and design schools from around the world are invited to apply, with a jury making the final selection.
Final application day for freelance designers: September 22, 2009.
Final application day for design schools: June 30, 2009.
How to apply (freelance designers):
Send by post or e-mail the following to us September 22, 2009:
1. Application form (see below)
2. Photos or sketches of the prototypes you wish to exhibit as well as a brief product information.
3. Sketch of how you are intending to presenting your products on your stand.
4. Curriculum Vitae
A renowned jury will select who will be offered a place in the Greenhouse 2010. If you are chosen you pay an application fee of SEK 7,900, VAT excl. This price includes a complete stand of approx. 9 square metres as well as advertising space and insurance. Information as to the layout of the stands will be presented in November.
